GRESS WATERPONDING FISH POND COATING is a ready-to-use waterproof coating specially formulated for fish ponds. Made from selected adhesive materials, it has strong adhesion when submerged in water, excellent waterproofing and seepage resistance, a flexible film, and is safe for fish as well as non-toxic. Available in various color options to enhance the beauty of fish ponds.
1. For New Ponds
- Ensure that the substrate or pond surface is strong, free from cracks, and not brittle, flaky, or chalky. Use Maxee Bond Bonding Agent to repair the pond surface.
- Clean the application area from dust and dirt.
- Ensure the walls are dry.
- Do not mix GRESS WATERPONDING FISH POND COATING with water.
- Apply the first coat.
- Spread evenly and ensure the application layer covers the pores of the surface.
- After drying for about 30 minutes, apply the second coat in the opposite direction of the first coat.
- Repeat for additional layers (a minimum of two coats is recommended).
- The pond can be filled with water after at least 7 days of drying.
- For corners (where the wall meets the floor), it is recommended to use fiber mesh or polyester mesh.
2. For Existing Ponds
- Clean the application area by removing old paint, moss, and mold (use Arca Moss Cleaner), as well as dust and dirt. Sand the pond walls and wipe them clean.
- Ensure that the substrate or pond surface is strong, free from cracks, and not brittle, flaky, or chalky. Use Maxee Bond Bonding Agent to repair the pond surface.
- Ensure the walls are dry.
- Continue with the painting process as described above.
